Kentucky Wild Horse
Kentucky Wild Horse takes its name from an old Eastern Kentucky fiddle tune that was played by Wolfe County fiddler Darley Fulks (1895-1990). Kentucky’s older music traditions are the inspiration for this talented group of veteran singers and instrumentalists. Their repertory consists of old-time and bluegrass songs and fiddle tunes learned from the many older Kentucky musicians they have known over the years as well as newer original songs that reflect on life in the region today. Along with the songs and tunes, Kentucky Wild Horse audiences are treated to stories of the wise and colorful characters whose music inspired the band.
